The Alchemy of Color (Flamingo)

This work is a tribute to the beauty in the unusual and the power of transformation. Inspired by an intensive engagement with Vincent van Gogh's style, the flamingo here symbolizes balance and emotional depth. It reminds us that our outer appearance and our aura are often the result of what we absorb deep within ourselves – a biological and spiritual motivation to turn towards what is beautiful and nourishing.

In the artistic execution as an oil painting on paper, dynamic brushstrokes were used to capture the vibrant energy and adaptability of this unique bird. The composition plays with the elegance of form and the luminosity that arises when one finds their own rhythm and true color.

This work is dedicated to the element Air, as the flamingo embodies the perfect balance between earthly grounding and ascending into lightness – a symbol of the elegance of movement and the striving for the bright heights of the spirit.
