The Art of Layering – Strength, Structure and Intuition
My work is a high-energy exploration of layering and transformation. I construct paintings like biographies: layer upon layer of paint, striking textures, and collage elements that are radically reworked and revealed again in the process.
Complexity and abstraction meet in a deliberate tension. I work with the relationship between abundance and clarity. Multifacetedness is allowed – but it is condensed, broken down, and rearranged until the essential becomes visible.
I create complex visual spaces that generate depth and guide the eye. Overpainting and deconstruction are not corrections, but rather decisions on the path to essence. I am interested in the balance between precise control and intuitive risk.
My paintings are made for spaces that require presence. They arise from constant curiosity and trust in the process – where friction leads to clarity.
Education & further training, including Milan Art Institute (Mastery Program), international workshops and courses in abstract and representational painting.

My journey is a constant search for what lies beyond the visible form. For my art to achieve this depth, I combine two worlds that are inextricably linked for me.
I solidified my technical foundation at the Milan Art Institute and in international masterclasses, among other places. This training allows me to confidently handle various media – whether in oil, acrylic, or ancient encaustic. For me, craftsmanship is the prerequisite for making energy visible on the canvas in the first place.
In parallel, my knowledge of Traditional European Medicine (TEM) informs my work. I don't just see nature as a backdrop; I work with its inherent logic – the Doctrine of Signatures and the elements. In works like 'Aronstab' (Arum) or 'Zunderschwamm' (Tinder Fungus), I combine classic colors with haptic materials such as texture pastes, stones, plants, or collages.
