The Moment the Spark Catches Fire

This work is dedicated to the enduring, elemental force we find in creation. Inspired by the tinder fungus, which acts as a preserver of embers, I capture the moment of transformation – the fiery interplay between outer hardness and the preserved glow.

In its execution, I use the synergy of Aquarylic, real rust, and sediments such as stones to make the tactile contrasts tangible: the rough, unyielding shell and the glowing potential within, preserved by its faithful hand.
