Fire in the Depths (Re-creation)

This work is dedicated to the archaic energy of re-creation, breaking forth from within. It is the result of deep inner contemplation and visualizes the moment one confronts their own fear and ultimately transforms it. "Fire in the Depths" shows the primal force simmering beneath the surface – and the profound peace that follows this process.

In the artistic execution, I use the special depth and layering of oil paints in a mixed-media technique to make this tension between glow and calm tangible. A painting about the power of overcoming and the tranquility found within oneself.

Work Details:

• Medium: Mixed media with oil paints on canvas

• Format: 40 x 40 x 4.5 cm

• Presentation: Unframed, very object-like due to the 4.5 cm depth; the wide sides are painted a matching black. Ready to hang.
