Nocturnes I–VII: Voices of Silence

This work is part of the "Nocturnes" series – a sequence of seven bird studies in the nocturnal light of the full moon. Each songbird rests alone on a branch, surrounded by the deep silence of the night. The series explores the fragile moment between sound and silence and is a homage to the quiet, often unheard voices of nature.

In the artistic execution, the moonlight models the shape and plumage of the birds, lending the scene an almost timeless, contemplative tranquility. While each image individually develops a strong presence, the series as a group unfolds its full visual impact – like a nocturnal record of pausing.

As a symbol for the element air, this nocturnal bird connects the earthly world with the ethereal heights of the sky – carried by trust and the power of transformation.
