I prefer my abstract works to impact the viewer without much additional explanation. However, with this particular piece, it is important to me to share a bit more.

My father fought against Alzheimer's for 18 years. This painting was created after I visited him on a special day.

For years he couldn't speak, and he hadn't recognized anyone for a long time. But on that one, single day, everything was different. We were able to talk to each other properly, and when someone suddenly turned up music in the park, we danced and laughed. A ray of hope, a gift – just like that.

Even today – after my father has unfortunately already passed away – I am deeply touched and emotional when I think of that day. The painting then practically created itself at home.
