The sides are painted in a matching dark color, and the painting comes with a hanging fixture.

Here we turn our gaze to the side, to where the deer almost merges with the primordial ground of the forest. This work is entirely dedicated to matter and the eternal natural cycle of coming into being and passing away. In the rhythm of the seasons, the deer consistently sheds its old antlers to make room for new, vital life force. Through the rough, haptic cold wax and sand technique, this earthy power of regeneration becomes tangible on the canvas. Subtly incorporated here you will find the marigold (Calendula), which in TCM stands as a traditional bringer of light for tissue renewal.
