Traces in the Wind (Constant Change)

This work is an homage to transience and constant change. Like wind on bright sand, life leaves traces that shape us. But one should not be fooled by the calm appearance: beneath this surface lie countless layers, collages, and textures – a testament to an intensive process. It is the depiction of a peace that one must painstakingly earn through persistent layering and searching.

In the artistic execution with oil paints and structural pastes, I went over the canvas countless times until the composition found its final balance. Each layer represents a moment of change, until finally the mineral tranquility of the end result was achieved. A work that celebrates the depth behind lightness.
