Nochturnes III
Nocturnes I–VII: Voices of Silence
This work is part of the "Nocturnes" series – a sequence of seven bird studies in the nocturnal light of the full moon. Each songbird rests alone on a branch, surrounded by the profound silence of the night. The series explores the fragile moment between sound and silence and is a tribute to nature's quiet, often unheard voices.
In the artistic execution, the moonlight sculpts the birds' form and plumage, lending the scene an almost timeless, contemplative tranquility. While each image individually unfolds a strong presence, the series as a group develops its full visual impact – like a nocturnal record of pausing.
In traditional elemental theory, this work represents the element Air in its subtle form – as a space for dreams, visions, and the quiet movement of thoughts under the protection of night.
